OR Temperature & Humidity

We have all been there before. There is a perfectly good explanation for a topic you may completely understand....but describing it to someone else, especially if they don't have similar training and experience that you do is often very difficult to do.
I was recently asked by a reporter doing an article to describe a very basic engineering principle in terms that I would use to describe it to a 12 year old. I was stumped... so I brought in an expert - my 12 year old daughter - and I explained it to her. After a lot of eye rolling and questions like "are you done yet?" I realized that there is a much better way to explain these principles... enter the power of demonstrations! I quickly came up with a way to demonstrate the concept and she was both entertained and engaged. Through that experiment I was also able to figure out a way to describe the process and help out the reporter.
Fortunately for us, ASHE has been putting together a bunch of resources to help us with this. In this video, Bill and Ryan explain the relationship between temperature and humidity.

4 年This is great! The importance of compartmentalization in operating rooms, or any hospital room for that matter, has never been any more important than right NOW!
