Ideas worth considering
There’s no ‘right’ way to raft a river.
No perfect path through each rapid.
You pick a line. Commit. Then adjust based on what unfolds in front of you.
Easy huh?
Yeah right.
Learning to raft is information overload. There’s way too much going on to make a good decision.
And so fuelled by apprehension, you paddle too hard to the left, hit a rock, and end up overboard.
Failure is inevitable on the water. It’s not a matter of IF you swim but WHEN.
The secret to smoother lines is what goes on between the rapids.
What happened? What went wrong? What needs to change for next time?
Just doing the thing isn’t enough to reach your potential.
Examining the doing is an essential addition. It creates awareness.
And there is no learning without awareness.
