Tell Your Story…

Tell Your Story…

In high school, it wasn’t cool to shoot for the yearbook or to be an A/V geek, so I didn’t shoot so much, that’s a shame. But then came college and GIRLS. Everything changed.

When I had a camera in my hand, I was different.

I had a purpose, a vision and goals; and it wasn’t just dating… but that was a pretty cool bonus. I’d ask all kinds of people to pose for me, anyone. That’s when the journey really started. I loved creating; in camera and in the darkroom. It was magic!

I moved to GA after graduation and began my career. I’m a proud member of Professional Photographers of America. I’ve earned the Certified Professional Photographers certificate. I am a member and on the Board of Directors of Professional Photographers of Georgia. I donate my time and skills too many organizations, including ‘Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep'. That work is important.

To this day, I still pursue the magic. I absolutely love the feeling when someone sees their portrait that I’ve created and smiles, that’s rewarding.

Photography is my way of capturing those moments for folks just like you to remember for a lifetime, or several lifetimes. When our memory fails us, photography is there to bring all of the emotions, the experiences, and exuberance of a one's life back to us.

So now you’ve heard me tell some of my story, how about you tell me yours?

Nice post Stuart! I agree with you on the importance of photos, especially ones that mark a milestone or event on our lives/family lives. Thank you for sharing
