....you got excited about what your local business is going to post online. Posting a synthetic design and a transition video is not marketing. The purpose of any marketing is simple, to tell a story that can move a small group of people, move them enough that they are willing to give a shot to buy you.
Once they buy from you, the only thing that is going to make them come again is the fact that whether your product/service has delivered on the promise that you made.
But digital marketing agencies make it sound like all the magic exists only in pushing your social media ahead with quirky posts and stylish digital designs and videos. The number they promise to increase, don't matter in lot of cases. "We will post X many times in a week", "We will bring X many followers to your account".
People understand this. Number of views is not sale, the number of followers is not sale, number of clicks is not sale. Sale is directly proportionate to how many people got connected to your story. That is what marketing is about. And the 'Digital' part of the 'Digital Marketing' is just the distribution method for the story.
