The very first full time job shapes the way you think about work.??

My very first full-time 100% focused job was one of the first employee, with no fix salary and a perceived co-founder, with no legal shares. A purely idealistic psychological contract, based on mutual trust and admiration. A work powered by the pioneering activity of doing something that we knew it will fundamentally CHANGE and CHALLENGE the way grown-ups work and live.??

I had studied many aspects about labor and its organization (as a major in political science and minor in organizational psychology).

I had experienced dozens of part-time jobs throughout my college years in Germany, Switzerland and Portugal. And was involved in many enriching volunteer activities.??

But only from the founders of Europe’s first coworking space betahaus did I learn, that a business plan can be created with the help of the first clients. Or that making mistakes can be met with pure curiosity about how shitty it went, with humor about how silly we were, and with an unstoppable ambition to make it twice as good in the second run!?

When I was invited to teach #DesignThinking in -at the time - a grey academic institution, the HTW Berlin, by the 'Academic guardians of the truth‘ I knew, we were provoking the grown-ups. They were getting curious.
