Telenor

Telenor Group announced new Chief Executive Officers in three of its Asian subsidiaries: Telenor Myanmar, dtac in Thailand and Grameenphone in Bangladesh.


Avaya

Avaya Holdings announced it has appointed William Madison as Vice President of Cloud Sales for North America.


UPC Switzerland

Baptiest Coopmans to become CEO of UPC Switzerland, Severina Pascu to serve as Deputy CEO and CFO for Virgin Media.

 

Deutsche Telekom

Hans-Christian Schwingen (53), Chief Brand Officer of Deutsche Telekom, has decided to leave the company effective April 1, 2020 to pursue new challenges.

His successor will be Ulrich Klenke (48), former CEO of the advertising agency Ogilvy and most recently a consultant for Volkswagen.

 

Oracle

Oracle has hired Ariel Kelman, a longtime Amazon Web Services executive as its new Chief Marketing Officer.

Kelman was named one of Forbes’ most influential CMOs of 2014.

 

Vonage

Vonage Holdings Corp. announced the retirement of David Pearson, who has served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since 2013. He will serve as CFO through May, and then as a special advisor to ensure a smooth transition to his successor.


McAfee

McAfee announced that its Board of Managers has appointed Peter Leav to the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective February 3, 2020. Leav will succeed Chris Young, who has decided to step down as Chief Executive Officer of McAfee.

 

Verizon Business

Former CenturyLink CTO Aamir Hussain has landed at Verizon Business as its Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer, and re-gained a seat on MEF’s board of directors.

 

Cloudera

Cloudera announced the appointment of Robert Bearden as President and Chief Executive Officer.


Colt

Colt Technology Services has announced the appointment of Annette Geuther as its Vice President (VP) of New Business Development, reporting to Keri Gilder, Colt’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

 

MTN Group

MTN Group has announced that Gordian Kyomukama has been appointed as the new MTN South Sudan CEO, effective 21 January 2020.

MTN Cameroon CEO, Hendrik Kasteel, will be leaving MTN at the end of March.

 

8×8

8×8 announced the appointment of Marge Breya as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Samuel Wilson as Chief Customer Officer and Managing Director of EMEA and Homero Salinas as Global Vice President and Head of Commercial Sales.

 

Contino

Contino announced that Seb Bulpin has been appointed to the position of Global CEO.

 

Exertis

Exertis announced the appointment of Liz Greenwood as UK IT director, reporting to Richard Hinds, Exertis UK&I, Chief Operating Officer.

 

West Midlands 5G

West Midlands 5G Limited (WM5G), a new organisation set-up to deliver the UK’s first region-wide 5G testbed, has appointed Michel Sabatier as Business Development Director.

 

Telia Finland

Telia Finland has named Lassi Nummi as new CEO of Assembly. He will succeed Pekka Aako on 01 February and will also participate in developing the Telia Esports Series league.


Microsoft

Ralph Haupter, Microsoft’s former CEO in Germany and recently head of its operations in Asia, will become president of the company in the Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) region, effective 01 April.

 

Mitel

Mitel announced the appointment of Tarun Loomba as the company’s new Executive Vice President of Unified Communications Products and Solutions.

 

Airtower Networks (formerly Wave Wireless)

Airtower Networks announced that Oliver Valente is joining their leadership team as Chief Executive Officer.

 

Telkomsel

Telkomsel has appointed Setyanto Hantoro to lead the company as its new President Director.

Telkom Indonesia and major Telkomsel stakeholder Singapore Telecommunications Ltd (SingTel) also appointed Venusiana Papasi as Telkomsel’s Network Director in the latest corporate reshuffle.

 

TM Forum

TM Forum announced three additions to its Board of Directors: Jason Rutherford, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Oracle Communications; Ruza Sabanovic, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Telenor Group; and Craig Wigginton, global telecommunications section leader at Deloitte.
