Low right-hand corner - QAM distribution feed going to the customer base.

If you walk out way back, any of the blue circles highlighted here are access points either RF impact for QAM Signals, all the way back up for ASI, etc. - These are going to be test points for MTS 4000.

MTS 4000 has a variety of cable connections, CAT5, Fiber optic, 10GbE, ASI, Coax cable for ASI or RF signals.

  • SM Fiber duplex ( yellow color) for IP Card on top
  • Two white color ASI in and out, also near below it has the capability for additional RF.


  • Near the bottom motherboard here we have a connection for LAN, in order to Remote desktop in, second network interface connected to the cisco switch(blue).
  • We also have a CAT5 connection on a main board yellow color.

  • In the lower right corner, you can see an RF constellation diagram and all of the RF parametric.
  • and also RF Measurement Signal power level, modulation ration S/N ratio, power measurements, etc.
  • The demodulated signal from RF constellation, we feed over ASI jumper to top left corner MTS 4000 analyzer takes care of looking at all of the program parametric, and top right corner all of the thumbnails information looking out.
