Tekkon, a new web 3 app, has been introduced in the Philippines.

Last October 30, the new Web3 app Tekkon was formally launched to Filipino techies and gaming fans at a special event hosted at the Revel at the Palace in Taguig City. Tokens are used by TEKKON to give a gamified solution to infrastructure problems. It has no beginning expenses and allows gamers to make money while also helping to improve society.

Whole Earth Foundation (WEF), a nonprofit organization that develops, maintains, and manages an infrastructure information platform for a community effort, has announced the introduction of the iOS version of Tekkon in the App Store.

Players may safeguard infrastructures, earn tokens, and even improve their health simply by photographing infrastructures while walking, shopping, or commuting. The program now focuses on manholes, but there are plans to expand its reach in the future.

Furthermore, the new reward mechanism incentivizes community involvement as the project progresses to a new stage in which crypto assets will be employed to develop an ecosystem for infrastructure upkeep. TEKKON is working to transform the infrastructure business by using gamification and data science technologies to deliver publicly available information to local governments and infrastructure corporations. WEF intends to put power poles in the list of infrastructure that gamers may photograph, upload, and review in TEKKON.

Web3 is a notion for a new version of the internet that incorporates blockchain technology and token-based economics.
