Teenage Mental Health are Ready for 2023

We at?https://www.teenagementalhealth.co.uk/?in readiness for the new year ahead, have capacity to more than double our active patient numbers for 2023. We do not currently have a waiting list either!

In 2022 we completed over 9000 therapy sessions! And we can see up to 400 Patients a week comfortably! This year we can easily perform another 11000 sessions in addition to the 9000!

This makes it very difficult to read stats like at the end of this post. If more people knew of?Teenage Mental Health, and what we do, perhaps there will be less children and adults waiting for?#nhs?provisions and alike with their symptoms worsening.

Please share our information among friends, families and professionals, you never know who it may help.

We have been in discussion with the?NHS?on supporting with the?#NHS?#suffolk?waiting lists for Children and Adolescents, but unfortunately opportunities to do this take time to come to fruition, we remain hopeful for the future this year for the chance to offer our services in support.

For a timely, quality and caring private service without delays please give us a call or self-refer on our website to see how we can help you, and or your child.

We will support anyone who can reach us in?#ipswich, you don't have to live in Suffolk and we are here for all ages, 2 to 102.

A recent article (one of many currently) on Children's Mental Health referrals is a rather sobering read. Below are highlights from this article.

1) "The number of children in England needing treatment for serious mental health problems has risen by 39% in a year, official data shows. (Guardian Own Quote)# -

The figures include children who are suicidal, self-harming, suffering serious depression or anxiety, and those with eating disorders.

2) "NHS Digital data shows hospital admissions for eating disorders are rising among children. Among under-18s, there were 7,719 admissions in 2021-22, up from 6,079 the previous year and 4,232 in 2019-20 – an 82% rise across two years"

3) "In 2020-21 the figure was 839,570 for Child Mental Health Referrals, (by PA Media)".
