Teeing Up for Victory: Why Tomorrow's Success Starts Today

Teeing Up for Victory: Why Tomorrow's Success Starts Today

As an avid golfer, I know the winter chill doesn't stop the clock on the upcoming season. Sure, my skis are getting a workout, but even on the slopes, I'm already thinking about spring. It's about practice swings in the basement, making sure my clubs are dialed in and, most importantly, building the strength and stamina needed to enjoy the course come tee time.?

Here at eLocal, we take a similar approach. Just like the early signs of spring driving a surge in home services needs, we anticipate customer demands well ahead of time. This isn't predicated on some lucky guess. It's the result of years spent building robust sales, customer success and marketing teams, along with strategic partnerships — all focused on specific sectors.?

As many know, I’m a big fan of the author and sportswriter Rick Reilly, and he often talks about winners visualizing victory, which stays top of mind for me. At eLocal, we've been visualizing victory in our core categories for a long time. The lesson here goes beyond seasonality. It's about focus. While some companies try to be everything to everyone, at eLocal we've chosen to go deep rather than broad. We've identified our strengths in specific categories and invested heavily in those areas. This laser focus allows us to deliver exceptional value to our customers and dominate the market in those key areas.?

This has led us towards exciting updates to our business that bring those visualizations of victory into reality. In recent weeks, we’ve begun implementing new quality control measures for the customer form leads that come our way. These updates will allow us to verify information and customer need at lightning speed, before it ever reaches an advertiser, improving their chances of converting that lead to a customer. On top of that, we’ve also been working behind the scenes on an exciting and transformative update to our sales CRM and overall experience for our advertisers.??

We’re constantly evolving and taking on these challenges because we focus on the success for our advertisers, rather than fearing the consequences of failure. We didn’t get to where we are today by being afraid of change, but by embracing the possibility of success.??

So, as you look toward your own goals, remember: Tomorrow's success is built on today's preparation. Take a proactive approach, sharpen your focus, and don't be afraid to visualize the “victory” that awaits.?

Excellent! I have found visualization fosters a connection between the mind, body, and action!
