TEDx Talk : What Math can teach us about igniting possibilities

When I was in elementary and high school, my favorite subject was Math. If I wanted to relax, I would solve Math problems. The more difficult the problems were, the more excited I got.

Do you love Math, too? If yes, that’s great! If you were traumatized by it, let me prove to you that you are good at Math.

Let’s solve this Math problem.

Did you get it? I bet you did! See? You’re good at Math!!! How you solved that Math problem gives a glimpse into how to solve any problem and ignite possibilities in your life and profession.

I want to repeat that for emphasis:?The process you used to solve that problem is the same process you can use to solve any problem and ignite possibilities.

This was what I talked about in my second TEDx talk.

I shared a simple yet powerful formula to solve any problem and ignite possibilities.

Possibilities like…

• Is it possible to write a book and launch it in a few months even if you’re not a writer and you’re busy?
• Is it possible to speak with confidence and competence in a few weeks even if you’ve always been so scared of speaking?
• It is possible to make your employees highly engaged and excited to go to work?
• Is it possible to be a recording artist even if you’re not a singer? Ehem! Ehem!
• Is it possible to lead with care and drive results for your company?

And so much more!

And the answer is a resounding YES!!!

Accept + Believe + Solve = Fearless Possibilities

Step 1:?Accept the givens.

Step 2:?Believe there is a solution Step 3: Find ways to?solve the problem.

What I discovered is this: “Possibilities are simply problems waiting to be ignited.”

If you have a problem right now, I genuinely want to congratulate you.

If you apply the ABS formula I shared in my TEDx talk, you can turn that problem into a possibility.

I was not a writer. Today, I’ve written 15 books and I teach book writing to aspiring authors who are not writers. I was shy and introverted. Today, I speak globally and I teach individuals and C-suite leaders how to speak with confidence and competence.

What were once problems became possibilities not just for me but for other people as well.
