6 年Hey Oisin. Came across this through my friend Lyndon. Great talk and resonates. I'm a great believer in 'caring' as a first principle in marketing terms. and whenever I speak to marketing students / interns (& clients) I usually end up saying (or a slide), "Empathy is the great seducer". Principles come before strategy before tactics. SMS has been a wonderfully productive tactic for us, but unless brands come from the principle of 'caring / empathy' it can be destructive. I love the idea of the trend to 'zero tolerance', phonosapiens and 'the empathy gap'. Great execution in the slides of your philosophy too, btw.
