We know the life and times of President Teddy Roosevelt. His lessons came from getting into the thick of it and the lessons stuck when he was in the most danger. In fact, he became alive only once challenged.
Roll up the sleeves, face the tiger and grab a fist full of mane. You can sit when you can no longer stand. Until then, are you going to lay there and bleed or cowboy up?
Sitting in the Menger Hotel lounge after the Eagle Ford DUG or Unconventional Gas Conference and I could not help thinking of the gathering in the pub not that many years after the Alamo right across the street of the Shrine that still catches the heart of all in the Texas borders. The current challenge is not that tough in comparison. Let's get up and get er done.
And the question, if you fill a glass half full of water, is it half full or half empty? Well, its 100% full if you can live on water and air alone. :)
