Tedaisy launches veterinary triage service to support pet insurance customers

Tedaisy Insurance Brokers Limited t/a Perfect Pet and NOW Pet are delighted to announce the launch of Perfect Pet Vet Assist and NOW Pet Vet Assist.

New and existing customers of Perfect Pet Insurance, and NOW Pet will benefit from this innovative pet triage service, which will provide free 24/7 access to expert veterinary support via phone, with live chat and video consultations to also be offered in the future.?

The customer-centric veterinary telehealth solution will provide invaluable support to policyholders on applicable plans. Commenting on the launch, Managing Director, Natalie Surtees, said:

“As pet lovers, we know first-hand how stressful it can be when your pet is unwell, which is why we were keen to launch a veterinary triage solution that will provide further reassurance and convenience to policyholders, complementing our ever-growing list of customer benefits.”
“While the service is not designed to replace the need to visit a veterinary clinic, we understand that sometimes as pet owners, we are unsure if a visit is necessary. Now, our policyholders can seek expert veterinary advice on demand effortlessly.”

The veterinary telehealth service has been implemented as part of our drive to support the health and well-being of dogs and cats throughout the UK, while removing many financial barriers that we know pet owners face. As a result, this benefit is included as standard with applicable policies with no charge to policyholders to access the service.?

It is hoped that the proposition of the veterinary triage service, coupled with a recent 5-star Moneyfacts? rating for the Elite Extra Plus dog and cat insurance plans provided by Perfect Pet Insurance, will add an additional valuable market differentiator to both brands.?

Excellent service that benefits both customers and the insurer. As a cat owner myself who has had a pet with a blocked urethra I know first-hand that time is of the essence. Had I not spotted a more serious sign I may have put off a vet visit until it was too late. The result could have been unsuccessful surgery at an expense to everyone, when earlier action could have made it unnecessary and saved the cat's life. Fortunately he made a full recovery. Services like this as a perfect combination of cost saving with improved customer results. Great initiative!
