???????????? ?????? ?????????????????

???????????? ?????? ?????????????????

Today I received a message from one of my LinkedIn connections.

This message was different.

I teach my clients to be different and stand out.

How much is too much when it comes to being different?

I connected with this person a few years ago.

He did say "Happy Birthday" in 2021.

Otherwise the usual new connection chit chat then silence for almost two years.

Today he sent me a PDF proposal/contract.

See the following contract/project Ted,

It is somewhat related to Search Marketing Simplified.

Let me know your thought ASAP.

You can thank me later.

Have a wonderful day.

I didn't download the proposal because, one, I didn't ask for it and two, I don't need malware on my computer.

Do these tactics work?

Have you ever hired someone after receiving a message like this?

Has anyone hired you after sending this kind of message to your LinkedIn connections?

I know you can start with the end in mind and work backward, but this takes it to a new level.

Maybe you could call this approach Tinder for LinkedIn.

Imagine a conversation like this...

Want to have kids?

Will you marry me?

Want to have sex?

Want to go on a date?

Hi, my name is Ted. What's your name?

Start with the end in mind, right?

When we connected on LinkedIn we were at the "Hi, my name is Ted" stage.

We chatted back and forth but never went on a date.

I never "swiped right" to move the relationship forward.

Two years later, he jumps ahead to the "Will you marry me?" stage asking for the sale.

Yes, you have to ask for the sale, but you need to know when.

Next week, we will spend an entire session on LinkedIn messaging.

What works and what you should never do.

Class starts Monday morning at 8 AM Pacific/11 AM Eastern.

I can't imagine getting one positive reply after sending 1000 of those messages.

Too many people try to move too fast on LinkedIn. For them everything is transactional. They didn't get the memo that business is built on relationships. I'm like you Ted, I don't reply to them either.

Ted Prodromou just like we spoke about the other day. I actually used to feel bad..not any more. Delete and unfollow is the only way to deal with this. ??

Prices: set them and forget them? Or increase them as your capabilities make bigger differences to your clients? You deserve revenue growth. That’s how I help knowledge professionals and B2B services firms.

Ted Prodromou "You can thank me later" is over the top obnoxious!
