A Technology Win

Can’t say I’ll ever be known as an early adapter when it comes to technology.
I resisted a mobile phone for longer than I probably should’ve back in the day when you just used them for calls.
It also took me a while to sell my soul to Apple and get an iPhone when smart phones first came out.
And I still haven’t got the urge to go and get a smart watch.
I like the old school watches.
But if there’s ever a case to get a smart watch it’s?this story?I saw the other day.
Seems a mum is crediting her smart watch for saving her life after it noticed some irregularities with her heart beat after having a period of health issues that couldn’t be put down to anything in particular according to all the tests she’d had.
The docs reckon she wouldn’t have woken up one day if she didn’t come in when she did.
Pretty scary right?
And also a good testimonial for those who wear a smart watch.
It’s also not an isolated case either, with others reporting that it’s helped them out of something bad happening when it flags irregularities.
Maybe I won’t totally rule it out now…
So if you have one now, who knows, it might end up helping you when you need it most.
Cheers,
Daniel
