Technology shapes how we live, work & play?-?but ultimately, people (intentions and energy) decide which innovations get to do the shaping.

Our global economy will not experience 100 years of movement in the 21st century — more like 20,000 years (at today's rate).

Some view the innovation economy as very mature and tech-driven, resulting in rapid consolidation, with few companies remaining.

I don't share this view.

We're meters down a road many miles long, and every time there are significant innovations, it's because there are energy, demographic, geopolitical, climate, spiritual, and cultural shifts. These factors drive technology and innovation — not the other way around.??

There is as much opportunity for innovation in the next five years as in any five-year period I've seen in our industry. There's also as much opportunity for new founders and companies to emerge and new approaches to enter the fold.?

I prioritize working with leaders who consider technologies like AI, machine learning, computer vision, quantum, and nuclear computing to always be about something other than technology. Every technology becomes commoditized over time. The real value, impact, or dangers of any technology or system will always be about the intentions and goals of those building, marketing, and adopting the systems.

Meeting with C-suite leaders at large corporations and early-stage founders building transformational and responsible tech solutions:

As Chair at NicheeStudio, which builds systems, and VC at Matr (matter) Ventures, which invests in early-stage AI, machine learning, and computer vision companies, I benefit from monitoring today's corporate tech environment and having a front-row seat to the early and later-stage transformational solutions of tomorrow.

Posts reflect my high-level views, including tech and innovation insights and trends affecting our communities and founders, issues important to our Fortune 1000 clients at NicheeStudio, and updates on my experiences and our investments at Matr (matter) Ventures. I've made every effort to minimize the technical jargon in all posts.
