CrowdStrike, the security firm that crashed millions of computers with its update, has partnered with #UberEats to offer $10 gift cards to its partner as an apology.?
On Friday - July 19th, #CrowdStrike released a faulty update that made 8.5 million #Windows devices unstable. The affected PCs were stuck with the famous Blue Screen of Death (#BSOD). The outrage caused delays at several airports, and many hospitals had to halt surgeries while millions of devices were paralyzed all over the world.
Google is Keeping the Cookies
#Google has decided to keep the third-party #cookies in its #Chrome #browser. In a #blog post, Google revealed it won’t abandon its third-party cookies; instead, it’ll introduce a new #experience that lets users make informed decisions across the web for browsing.
In 2019, Alphabet announced it was working on the #Privacy Sandbox initiative, which aims to enhance online privacy while supporting digital business. The key goal of this initiative was to eliminate the need for third-party cookies.

Meta Released its biggest Open source AI model
