We are already half-way through what has been a busy year to date and appears to only be getting busier as we head into summer.
Deals have been particularly prominent at the early stage of the market with a surge of Series A announcements especially, in addition to Series B rounds being quite active. This is an area of the market which has been hit hard over the last 24 months and is beginning to show signs of recovery.
Fundraising continues to gain momentum, and it was a busy month for climate tech funds with Norrsken, ETF Partners, Ocean 14 Capital and LowerCarbon Capital all raising fresh capital to deploy.
The hiring market also showed signs of significant improvement with increased numbers of job opportunities arising over the course of the month.
