Unsurprisingly, given holiday season was well underway, August has been a quiet month across all fronts.

Having said that, there was still some quite notable activity within the industry.

One of the most high-profile deals saw the acquisition of Epassi Group by TA and Warburg Pincus, another very successful exit for growth investor Bregal Milestone. We also saw some interesting movement at the early stage of the market with a new AI player Poolside AI raising a massive $126m in seed funding.
