Technology Changes Everything

Last week after close to 18 years challenging clients thinking and leading successful sales teams with a growth mindset, I’ve decided it’s time for me to leave Forrester.

I have never been happier, never been so challenged, never worked with more exceptional people and clients. I’m grateful for the relationships built and all the amazing people I’ve worked with globally. They've been wonderful mentors, thought leaders and more importantly, great friends.

I’ve read and shared countless data points and reports with clients and LinkedIn connections. All about the future of business and technology to help develop customer-obsessed strategies that drive growth.

Back in 1999 while steelhead fly fishing in British Columbia with clients, Forrester had this tag line: Technology Changes Everything. It sure does and this picture was taken with a BlackBerry long before this accurate prediction and the creation of the now ubiquitous smartphone! I know the best is yet to come, and I can't wait to see what Forrester accomplishes in the years ahead.

I would like to leave you with this quote from one of my favorite and remarkable books to help guide you on your next voyage.

“The passion for stretching yourself and sticking to it, even (or especially) when it’s not going well, is the hallmark of the growth mindset. This is the mindset that allows people to thrive during some of the most challenging times in their lives.”   Carol Dweck

It’s been a privilege working with so many thought leaders of those I am connected to here on LinkedIn. As for me now, I will be taking some time off to spend with my family and of course will be doing some fly fishing and then will embark on something new to build. It will certainly be in technology so please let me know if I can help you build a culture to drive growth. I hope we can work together, connect and collaborate on new ideas soon.

Thanks!

Greg
