8 个月Yes. Technology requires science. Scientific breakthroughs create technology. The challenge is - it is hard to say what science will work. So, we have to encourage scientific research broadly. Years of investment are required in science to become technology and translate to good.

8 个月I have been hearing this statement for quite some time but has technology really made healthcare affordable? The sad truth is " not yet". The nearest example is the use of robotics in surgery, the cost of this comes at a premium. I can cite quite a few examples to make my point. The real issue is hospitals reaching those economies of scale and then passing on the benefit to the patient,which again is big ?
