On Feb. 20, Chinese phone maker Oppo launched the Find N5, touting it as the world’s thinnest foldable flagship phone, with a body thickness of 8.93mm when folded. As the first foldable device to include the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the new model in the series also boasts a 5,600mAh battery, 50W wireless fast charging, and comes equipped with DeepSeek R1.

Huawei has boosted the yield rate of its latest Ascend series AI chips from 20% to nearly 40% over the past year, according to sources cited by the?Financial Times. This marks the first time the production line has turned a profit for the Chinese tech giant. Huawei aims to increase the yield to 60%, aligning with the industry standard for similar chips, the sources noted.

Following the immediate success of its first electric car, China’s Xiaomi made another splash on Thursday when chief executive Lei Jun?announced?the company had received more than 10,000 orders for its highly anticipated supercar just two hours after the launch.
