Experience, Knowledge, and skills:

1.Completed Higher Secondary Educational / ITI / Diploma in the field of Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution and possessing.

2. Minimum of 7 years’ experience, of which at least 5 years should be post trade, in an in Oil & Gas Industry/petrochemical process plant.

3.Capability to work under pressure.

4.Highly skilled as a Workshop Valve Technician and had numerous relevant trainings such as understanding on the API 527 & 576, 598, ANSI FCI 70-2 standards.

5.Knowledgeable in various Maintenance Workshop practices including the up-to-date state of the art Technology.

6.Proficient in English, both Oral and Written.

7.Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.

8.Excellent adaptability to a multicultural environment with a wide exposure to

various cultures and customs

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Theoretical & practical knowledge of all types of Valves / Actuators such as PIBIVIESSE / TYCO / POYAM / VANESSA / VALTEK / ORBIT /

ADAMS / VELAN / KEYSTONE / FISHER, and PRV’s etc.

2.Execution of Valve Maintenance activities such as Assembly, disassembly, Lapping, pop-up and blowback testing for PRVs, Seat and Body

testing, Workshop Gland seal replacement, etc.

3.Full knowledge on how to use the Test bench & handling of Air/Water/Nitrogen at high pressure.

4.Quality Control Measures for all Maintenance-related activities using checklist.

5.Knowledgeable on diagnostics for the causes of failure, provide reasons/effect for failure and to identify damaged spares from dismantled

valves & actuators.

6.Capable of understanding valve data sheets, assembly drawings and cross-sectional drawings.
