An innovative company in the medical technology field is seeking for an experienced Project Manager to collaborate with teams of professionals on the development and successful implementation of projects related to medical device design and deployment, covering the entire product lifecycle. This role is essential to advancing our strategic goals and delivering innovative healthcare technology solutions
Manage the full product lifecycle:
- Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects related to new product development.
- Define clear project milestones and deadlines to ensure timely delivery to market.
Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external teams:
- Maintain constant communication with marketing, production, design, quality control, and sales teams.
- Coordinate work with external suppliers and partners when specific components or resources are required.
Budgeting and resource management:
- Prepare detailed budgets and track costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Optimize expenses while maintaining high-quality standards for developed products.
Risk analysis and contingency planning:
- Identify potential risks associated with new product development and create strategies to mitigate them.
- Develop alternative action plans to address unforeseen issues.
Reporting and presentations to management:
- Prepare regular reports and present project status updates to senior management.
- Ensure transparency regarding progress, budgets, and risks in product development.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, project management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a project manager, specifically in new product development.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and methods (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum).
- Proficiency in project management software (JIRA, Asana, MS Project, Monday.com
, or similar).
- Solid understanding of the product lifecycle stages, including development and market positioning phases.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong leadership skills focused on team motivation and conflict resolution.
- Ability to quickly identify problems and make decisions that minimize risks and ensure project efficiency.
- Strong analytical approach to data gathering and evaluation, financial metrics, and market trends
Nice to have, but not required:
- Experience in industries such as high-tech, consumer electronics, automotive, biotechnology, or similar fields is a plus.
- ?A masters degree or additional certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are considered an advantage
