Technical offer for ISR of Sea Borders with CGT50 VTOL UAV

Performing Aerial Surveillance using manned systems or large UAVs has some disadvantages :

1) The cost of procurement is high (CAPEX)

2) The cost of maintenance and operations is high (OPEX)

3) They are easier to be detected by the targets (size and sound)

4) Flight speed is too high

5) Impossible to perform a 24/7 operation due to high operational complexities and budget

6) High operational altitudes result in clouds to prevent ISR

7) Emission of greenhouse gases are extreme.

Basic Solution

We propose to perform the aerial surveillance of sea borders by the LALE (Low Altitude Long Endurance) CGT50 VTOL UAS Systems.

A series of communication antennas and GCS are to be placed at the coasts of any country to establish a unique network. The UAVs will take off from designated bases and will perform ISR on an area of 200km along the borders within 4-6 hours.

The CGT50 UAV will fly at 500-1500 m MSL and below cloud cover to perform suitable ISR. The System will use HD E/O cameras for daylight and IR cameras for operations at night.

Boats of the Coast Guard or Navy will also be equipped with GCSs, which can take over the control of the UAVs once in communication range and use them to perform detailed checks on suspicious activities. This will enable any boat within 100km of any GCS on the Coast to utilise a UAV whenever it's required.
