?? Mentorship in Action: Conducting a Technical Interview for My Mentee ??

Recently, I had the fulfilling opportunity to conduct a mock technical interview for my mentee. It was an experience that went beyond assessing technical knowledge—it became a journey of learning, collaboration, and personal growth for both of us.

As a mentor, I’ve always believed that mock interviews play a crucial role in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world expectations. They offer a safe and structured platform for mentees to practice, learn, and grow, while giving mentors a chance to refine their approach to guidance.

Designing the Interview Experience

The goal was to simulate a professional interview setting while maintaining an encouraging and conversational tone. Here’s how I structured the session:
