We are seeking a Technical Cloud Services Manager who excels in collaborative environments, leveraging advanced cloud and analytical skills to build and deliver AWS and/or Azure Cloud Platform infrastructures and solutions. This role is crucial in addressing the increasing data and cloud demands associated with AI, machine learning, IoT, advanced analytics, open-source technologies, and other emerging digital innovations. The ideal candidate will manage a cloud tower, delivering the necessary technical discovery for government clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and develop the Client’s 24/7 Cloud Support and Managed Services offering.
- Provide strategic and tactical leadership for the engineering, implementation, and operation of Azure and AWS platforms for client software solutions.
- Enhance and maintain robust health service monitoring to proactively detect and respond to operational issues across all client implementations.
- Act as the company’s subject matter expert on Azure/AWS cloud platforms by engaging in continuous learning and collaborating with Azure and AWS architects.
- Offer guidance and knowledge transfer on Azure/AWS platforms to ensure continual innovation.
- Collaborate with the Product Team, Client Services, and Client Support to guarantee consistent and complete client deployments across our cloud offerings.
- Work with QA to understand application performance on Azure/AWS.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching for all staff, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Collaborate with QA and Release teams to assist in automating software deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Serve as the internal Cloud evangelist, building consensus among executives, colleagues, and third parties.
- Partner with product delivery to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Act as the go-to expert for MS, Google, and AWS Cloud, guiding clients in their exploration of single or multi-cloud strategies.
- Collaborate with the Project Management team to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure quality deliverables.
- Primarily interact with your direct supervisor while being prepared to engage with peers and managers on both the client side and within the organization.

Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in technical solutions implementation, architecture design, evaluation, and investigation within cloud environments (specifically AWS and/or Azure).
- 5 years of experience leading technical teams supporting private/public cloud.
- 10+ years in management/leadership roles, including 24/7, SLA-based support services.
- Relevant certifications in AWS or Azure at the Design level.
- Solid understanding of security principles and technology for cloud implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale, high-quality enterprise systems.
- Ability to translate technical terms to extract business value.
- Capacity to craft a cloud vision across the entire portfolio of client solutions and gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Familiarity with the top three cloud providers.
