Process requirements for motor winding removal

(1) The wire pulling direction must be along the axial direction of the iron core, and there should be no angle. Otherwise, the end teeth of the iron core will be easily scraped and deformed, resulting in a fanning phenomenon, and the coil may be stuck in the slot and cannot be pulled out.

(2) The pulling force should be appropriate, not too strong, to prevent destructive removal, otherwise, the core teeth will be scratched, skewed, and even cause the entire core slot to collapse.

(3) For the formed winding, it is necessary to prevent the coil from being deformed too much during the dismantling process.

(4) The ventilation slot of the iron core is not allowed to be blocked, and it should be ensured that it is unblocked. It is required to completely remove the residual insulation in the slot, especially for the wound rotor with a slender core slot, it is forbidden to burn the iron core to prevent the insulation between the iron cores from being damaged, resulting in short-circuit heating of the core. Do not damage the iron core when removing debris in the groove with emery cloth and a file knife, and do not use a file to file the groove.

(5) For the sludge and dirt on the iron core and the base, it can be cleaned with a washing machine and then dried.

(6) It is necessary to check whether the tooth end plate of the iron core is open-welded and damaged. For the sintered iron nodule in the iron core, it must be repaired first, and after passing the iron loss test, it should be sprayed with insulating paint for protection.

(7) If the winding insulation is too hard and difficult to disassemble, it can be disassembled after heating in an electric heating drying room or melting acetone.
