As the first few months of the year have flown by, the team at TechForce Cyber have been kept busy gearing up for the new upcoming financial year with sales, events and other endeavour's. Here is a roundup of what we have been up to the past month...

Cyber Resilience and Recovering from Cyber Attacks on the NorthLink Ferries

On 29th February, we marked a significant milestone by hosting our first TechForce Cyber event at the NorthLink Ferries post-COVID. This event stood out as one of the prominent cyber-centric gatherings during CyberScotland Week in Aberdeen.

We are thrilled that our cyber event was a resounding success! We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all attendees who joined us aboard the ferry. Special thanks are also due to Chelsea Jarvie and Mark McRitchie for delivering insightful talks on cyber resilience and recovery strategies post-cyber attacks.

We are immensely grateful to NorthLink Ferries especially Robert Smith for accommodating our event onboard the ferry. The beautiful views of the sunny sea provided the perfect setting for engaging discussions, complemented by a delicious lunch. Our event was a testament to the collaborative spirit driving cybersecurity initiatives in Scotland.

It was indeed a special day at a special venue with special speakers at a special event!

New Cyber Analyst Joins TechForce

Victor Obahor is our newest recruit who has joined the TechForce Cyber team as a Cyber Analyst

Victor is a proficient Cybersecurity Engineer with extensive knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and security frameworks/technologies. Currently, he is a student at Robert Gordon University where he is studying his Masters degree in Cyber Security. He also has a background in System Administration and worked as a Technical Lead for a Microsoft Partner on Security and Compliance, Mail Flow, Azure, and Exchange Online/Hybrid. Victor is also skilled in customer engagements, project continuity/management, and supervising teams of engineers.

We are delighted to welcome him to our team! With his expertise and experience in the cyber field, this will enable us to evolve and expand as a company!
