Google's making changes fast, very fast. Whether that's fueled by a rivalry they seem to losing vs OpenAI or they see the shifting sands of the user base, things are changing. Every company is iterating at blazing speeds this year, in large part thanks to AI.
However, a supposed AI company, "Jasper" (fka as Jarvis) is a content AI company and apparently it's failing. When you offer AI content and AI content is a commodity you have differentiate your service offering but it's too little too late I'm afraid. (Source)
Speaking about shifting sands. My kids uninstalled Tiktok. I don't usually add anecdotal stories, but it echoed something further down in this newsletter. Social Media like that is exhausting. Addicting but exhausting and it lacks any real connection. My bet right now is on Instagram as the winner but I think there's room for new players.
