This newsletter coming to you right from the jury sequester area. I'm about to make $30 and potentially decide the fate of a case. I wish I could say I'm elated. I told the bailiff I have to get this newsletter out and I just did, even though it's a bit delayed and truncated.

LinkedIn - Have you noticed the new articles popping up by LinkedIn. It's a clever play on their part to sort of back their way into a quora like content library. With Pulse appearing in SERPS, it might be worth commenting on these AI written - community assisted articles. (Read More)

Facebook launches broadcasts channels. This could make Facebook pages great again.

You can now tag products in your videos on Youtube. This is great for affiliate marketers and now it makes more since for creators on Amazon to cross publish on youtube. (Source)

Google's latest spam update has finally finished rolling out. If you got hit, check your authority, links, content and techical. The same basic advice for the last 20 years. (Source)

Microsoft Ads now have features that Google had years ago. I really want to laugh, but now I'm thankful because Google is trying to take away these features. (Source)

Quick News Hits (Just Found On The Interwebs)

  • There's a bunch of chatter about how Meta is forcing Threads on it's users. It's a bit of a gamble to lower everyone's experience across the platforms in order to increase user engagement.
  • Tiktok is targeting parents with a new hashtag. Spoiler, boomers are already getting addicted to tiktok too.
  • TikTok is expanding video upload time to 15 minutes. It's actually a horrible experience b/c you can't make it go faster.
  • TikTok is talking publicly about a creator scoring system.
  • Instagram has a new feature to allow polls in content.
  • X is adding some much needed features to it's ad platform. Namely a "accounts to avoid" advertising on.
  • X really, really wants you create vertical video ads. If you're on tiktok and IG, why not?
  • Snapchat is dying. There's a puff piece out there but until they get a new CEO, I don't expect it to come back.
