Narayana Murthy dispels AI fears?

The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) has sparked anxieties about its potential impact on the job market.?

  • However, Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy offered a perspective that challenges this narrative?

Driving the news: In an exclusive interview with us, Murthy drew parallels between the current concerns about AI and a similar fear that gripped the software engineering industry in the 1970s .?

  • Back then, the emergence of "case tools" and "computer-aided software engineering tools" was seen as the death knell for programmers

But instead of replacing programmers, these tools became their assistants, freeing them to tackle more complex problems.?

  • Murthy said that AI will likely follow a similar trajectory
