• Now: "My smart fridge just emailed me a shopping list."

AR-VR:

• Then: "Putting on goggles to see a different world? I had a vivid dream of me being a potato; beat that!"
• Now: "Hung out on Mars during my lunch break with my VR headset."

Big Data:

• Then: "Sounds like someone's trying to compensate for something."
• Now: "Used big data analytics to optimize my pee breaks."

Blockchain:

• Then: "A chain of blocks? So, LEGO?"
• Now: "Everything's more secure with blockchain, except my LEGO tower."

Chatbot:

• Then: "So, it's a robot that... chats? Got enough friends, thanks."
• Now: "Asked a chatbot for life advice today. Surprisingly insightful!"

Machine Learning:

• Then: "If machines are doing the learning, why are you sending me to the school?"
• Now: "Taught my AI to make dad jokes. Regretting it."

Hashtag:

• Then: "It's a number sign, why's everyone calling it a hash... tag?"
• Now: "#myPronounIsAHashtag"

API:

• Then: "Are you offering me a pie? Yes, an Apple Pie please"
• Now: "Used an API to find the best Apple Pie stores near me"

Wearable:

• Then: "All my tech is wearable if you're creative enough!"
• Now: "Got a smart ring that tells me the mood of my girlfriend."
