Being in the?IT?industry for?the?last 25 years, I have been?a part of?many valid and relevant debates?- 1 interesting topic being?“Generic Vs Specialized”,?“Breadth Vs Depth in Technology”?amongst many other topics.

There are many?bellwether?IT giants who are good on?a?lot of technologies. Equally,?some serious players are tremendously specialized in one area with deep tech expertise.

I have?some distinct?thoughts in my mind?about?what I?would like to term?as – Plural Technologists.?

There is nothing wrong?with having?a lot of disparate technologies on your plate;?but?the art is – being?nimble & specialized in those with?the?right experts,?execute & deliver neatly. What matters?the?most is to solve problems?in a?timely?manner?and deliver a fantastic customer experience exceeding expectations.
