Tech News: NVIDIA RTX 4090 Discontinued Next Month, RTX 5090 Set to Replace

The decision to phase out these high-end models is aimed at reducing inventory of the RTX 40 series and focusing on the upcoming product releases. Market forecasts suggest that the GeForce RTX 5090?will fully replace the RTX 4090, with the RTX 5090 D taking over from the RTX 4090 D in the Chinese market.

The RTX 4090 remains the most powerful in the RTX 40 series, but with the introduction of the SUPER series, the product lineup will evolve. The SUPER series is expected to offer better value for money, and the RTX 5090/5090 D is anticipated to lead the market, making it challenging for competitors like AMD and Intel, which are more focused on mainstream and processor solutions.

The upcoming GeForce RTX 5090 will feature the Blackwell architecture, approximately 600W power consumption, and new GDDR7 memory, promising exceptional performance. As the release date approaches, more details are expected to emerge.
