When and how did your business start?
Sitehop?was founded to solve a critical problem in cybersecurity: the trade-off between high-speed data transmission and strong encryption. While working in high-performance computing and telecommunications, we saw that businesses were being forced to choose between security and performance—a choice that shouldn't exist. We built?Sitehop?to eliminate that trade-off, creating an encryption solution that is both ultra-secure and ultra-fast. Today, we’re trusted by leading enterprises and cloud providers to safeguard their most valuable data.
What international markets appealed to you the most and why??
Sitehop?has a global footprint, and we’re expanding rapidly. The US, Europe and Asia have been key markets for us because of their strong demand for high-performance security solutions in sectors like telecoms, cloud infrastructure, and AI-driven applications. We’re particularly focused on areas where high-speed network core to edge is driving a need for secure, real-time data protection.
Have there been any markets that have surprised you? How so??
The APAC & LATAM regions, particularly Singapore and Brazil, have been a pleasant surprise for us. While we initially anticipated demand in traditional enterprise security, these markets have shown an accelerated need for high-performance. Their rapid 5G and cloud adoption has made them early adopters of advanced cybersecurity solutions like ours.
What makes the UK?tech industry?stand out on the global stage??
The UK is a powerhouse of innovation, particularly in cybersecurity. The strength of our academic institutions, deep-tech startups, and government-backed cybersecurity initiatives makes the UK a global leader. Additionally, the UK’s regulatory focus on data privacy and security aligns perfectly with emerging global compliance needs, positioning UK tech firms as trusted providers of cutting-edge, compliant solutions.
Why are trade shows like Mobile World Congress important for the tech industry?
Given the rapid evolution of cloud security and the rapid advances in quantum computing which threatens traditional encryption methodologies it important for any companies in this sector to meet and share with others at MWC to align this industry for the future.??

What’s one piece of technology you can’t live without?
