Yesterday, December 23, 2019, Team USA lost another Great American, Sergeant 1st Class Michael J. Goble. He was killed by a roadside bomb, aka, Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Afghanistan. Media buried the story. Please like, share, or comment to boost awareness and honor the service and sacrifice of SFC Goble, 33.
Mr. President, this casualty and many others that preceded SFC Goble's death, were preventable. Bureaucracy is blocking the low cost, highly effective, sustainable program to collapse IED supply chains. Fallout from inaction to urgent need requests from US, NATO, and Afghan Forces includes higher costs, more casualties, and prolonging of this war.
By eliminating the free flow and stockpiles of bomb making precursor materials, and dismantling enemy support networks, the IEDs that continue to kill and maim US servicemembers, and prolong the Afghanistan war, will start to fade like a bad dream.
Mr. President, your support with this EASY WIN will ensure more cheers and fewer tears. Thank you for your time, service, and perpetual accomplishments. Merry Christmas!
