The TEAP Program: Centra’s Exciting New Testing Capabilities

Centra Windows is proud to announce that we have become the first?window and door manufacturer ?to join the TEAP Program from QAI Laboratories . This is a testament to Centra’s capabilities as an industry leader, the rigorousness of our testing processes, and the overall quality of our products.

Who are QAI Laboratories, and what is TEAP?

QAI is a leading independent organization which specializes in?testing, inspection, and certification . They have been catering to the building industry and government entities since their founding in 1995. QAI’s certification program offers accredited evaluation and analysis of products, followed by inspection for conformance to standards and quality procedures. Their accredited laboratories offer extensive testing capabilities, and their inspectors visit clients and observe factory production to ensure compliance and offer feedback on quality processes and maintaining standards.

TEAP stands for Test Evaluation Acceptance Program. To gain full TEAP qualification, a company must prove that it is capable of testing products to acceptable standards in-house as opposed to requiring external, third-party testing. Being TEAP-qualified also requires ongoing assessment to ensure your processes and equipment remain in line with regulations and industry benchmarks. Once fully qualified, Centra will have to consistently demonstrate our adherence to these protocols.
