What do teamwork and team dynamics mean to you? Below are five quotes to inspire reflection. They are all impactful, but my favorite is by Steve Jobs, closely followed by Simon Sinek's. What's your favorite? Feel free to share!
“Great things in business are never done by one person. They're done by a team of people.” - Steve Jobs
“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.” - Michael Jordan
"Teamwork begins by building trust. And the only way to do that is to overcome our need for invulnerability." – Patrick Lencioni
"Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success." – Henry Ford
“A team is not a group of people who work together. A team is a group of people who trust each other.” - Simon Sinek
Here's my perspective on team dynamics as I develop new approaches and concepts for this:
Team dynamics refer to the behavioral and psychological forces within a group of people that determine its direction and performance. These forces are shaped by individual personalities, relationships, roles, and the overall environment in which the team operates. They manifest in the way team members interact, communicate, collaborate, and resolve conflicts, influencing every aspect of a team's function from decision-making to innovation.
