Teamwork - National Pride - Winning
Richard Furniss
“In life, it’s the journey, trust in yourself, believe in yourself, you and only you control your future.”
Its a game and we all love to share in the success of the team. David and Goliath, punching above our weight or station, the little guy.
So what unites NZ with such fervour and passion, is this because rugby we grew up with as our institution. A large group of strangers this morning gathered to watch with caution and awe, the flow of emotions was amazing and the finale was spectacular. So they started again after they finished the last RWC and worked towards their goal and were deliberate, consistent and humble, what wonderful qualities for a leadership team. Always start with the end in mind.
So proud to be a kiwi with the icon holders we all witnessed today.
Tomorrow looks brighter and so does 2016 with such positive examples.

9 年Mindful that NZ is still very much a 'settler' society, I think one reason for punching above its weight is the distinct lack of detritus as opposed to other cultures, the national psyche is committed to an 'all hands on deck' approach, a fearless resilience with no natural predator! Our rugby successes both epitomise and are the effect of the cause!
