TEAMWORK CONFLICTS?
Conflicts within a team has always many reasons, sometimes is the difference of generations, sometimes one think that works more than the other, jokes not well received, so in this article I'll focus just in one situation brought to me by a mentee recently.
Have you ever seen a teammate who is better working in the group of 3, Me, I and Myself?
The teammates who always speaks in a first person "I", even when the results were clearly the result of a teamwork, frequently generates conflicts.
They are used to be selfish, works on their own island and loves to show off.
As a leader what you can do?
Break the conflict by:
1- Bring the team to a common ground.
2- Focus on where WE want to be.
3- Ignite their purpose to be there.
4- WE need everyone to get this, to another level.
5- Bring the WE back to the game.
When WE win, WE are WINNERS, when just one or 2 individuals wins as a Team, WE are LOSERS.
Recognize individuals but promote the TEAMWORK.
Do you have other strategies, share with me?

1 年Nice read Manu! To answer your question: something that I try to do is when celebrating someones succes, I try to highlight how that piece of the puzzle contributes to the roadmap as a collective. Personally for me that always felt like what Im doing matters. Im adding onto the bigger picture. Without me, or my colleagues, we're not able to progress. It also has the added benefit of everyone understanding how valueble someone elses work is and thus making it a "we" effort :).
