Welcome to the July 2023 edition of Teams Rooms Asia Monthly newsletter! June was another big month of events and announcements for Microsoft Teams Rooms. Read on for updates on long awaited AI-powered features, new devices certified for Teams plus other key updates on the ecosystem.

Microsoft Teams Rooms Updates

Microsoft and our certified partners showed up strong at Infocomm, showcasing the latest hardware and platform innovations for Microsoft Teams. #CloudIntelliframe , updates to intelligent camera and speakers, new improvements to the captions experience, front row layout and many other features. Poly announced the Studio X52 which has been certified for use in Medium sized rooms along with the TC10 touch panel.

Earlier in the month at Cisco Live, 思科 announced the Cisco Room Bar Pro along with new Microsoft Teams Room certifications including Cisco Room Bar, Cisco Room Kit Pro and Cisco Desk Pro. See the website for more information.

Also just in, the Lenovo ThinkSmart Core with Lenovo IP Controller Kit , Yealink MVC860-C5 Bundle , Poly G7500 with Shure Microflex Large Room Bundle, Biamp Vidi 250 camera , Vaddio RoboSHOT 30E-M HD PTZ camera and Lenovo ThinkSmart View Plus Teams Display were all newly certified for Microsoft Teams.

?? End of Personal Account Support | 90-Day Grace Period

User licenses aren't supported for use with meeting devices. User licenses that have been assigned to teams meeting devices need to be replaced by an approved Teams Rooms license prior to July 1, 2023. Meeting devices that do not have a Team Rooms license after July 1, 2023 will be granted a 90-day grace period ending on September 30, 2023. After the 90-day grace period, devices will be blocked from signing in until a Teams Rooms license is assigned. Click here for more information.
