#TeamPSA's Q2 2024 Highlights
We've rounded up some PSA highlights from the past quarter as we cross into the second half of 2024!
?? Marking milestones
We published the PSA International Annual Report 2023, themed 'Movements in Harmony', in April! Drawing inspiration from how the creation of harmonious music unites people from all walks of life, we invite readers to explore the Group's 2023 highlights and repertoire of solutions as we strive to skillfully conduct port and supply chain activities.
Over in Italy, we celebrated the 30th anniversary of PSA Genova Pra' in June. Our Group CEO Kim Pong ONG attended the anniversary event and thanked our partners for their trust and staff at PSA Italy for their dedication over the years.
Saudi Global Ports also commemorated a milestone - the team has moved more than 10 million TEUs since the start of its commercial operations in 2015!
?? Awards and accolades
PSA was recognised as an industry leader, securing three awards at the 2024 Asian Freight, Logistics & Supply Chain (AFLAS) Awards! PSA Singapore 's OptETruck solution also won the the Singapore Recognition of Excellence at the 9th Annual Singapore OpenGov Leadership Forum.
One of our core values - our people are the heart of our business - was strengthened with double honours. PSA was named as one of The Straits Times' Singapore's Best Employers 2024, and PSA Singapore received the Wellbeing Innovation Award at the 2024 WorkWell Leaders Awards, a testament to their commitment to championing mental wellness, as well as listening and caring for our people.

PSA Singapore, together with NYK Line and "K" Line, has announced the renewal and extension of the joint venture at Asia Automobile Terminal Singapore, Southeast Asia's largest hub for transshipping finished vehicles.

PSA Singapore, together with X-Press Feeders and Global Energy Trading, successfully completed the first simultaneous methanol bunkering and cargo operation, at Tuas Port in Singapore. It was conducted with the support of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, together with various government agencies and local research institutions.
In India, PSA and Container Corporation of India Ltd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore and collaborate in offering seamless and cost-effective end-to-end logistics service to customers, building more efficient trade flows in the region and beyond.
A new development as we continue to make progress in our sustainability journey: Mersin International Port (MIP) unveiled the MIP-5, a new tugboat that is the terminal's most environmentally-friendly and high tech tugboat to date!
?? Community support
In Singapore, we awarded the Howe Yoon Chong (HYC) PSA Scholarship to 40 outstanding students! Established in 2008 to honor the late Mr Howe Yoon Chong, a visionary leader whose contributions included overseeing the construction of Singapore's first container terminal, the HYC PSA scholarship supports students dedicated to making a positive societal impact.
Baltic Hub had helped to empower and strengthen local community ties in Gdańsk, Poland, through two meaningful activities supporting a local school and a local hospice. In Argentina, International Trade Logistics hosted a special celebration in Buenos Aires to spread joy with awards and the donation of school supplies.
