Teaming up in this crisis is the Only Strategy

Teaming up in this crisis is the Only Strategy

The year 2020 began with a bang of passing a new bill Citizenship Amendment Act which has led to fire storming protests across the nation. There went a blow of anxiety and confusion in the minds of people which later caused riots in the major parts of cities, thus leaving major parts of India burnt and suffered both mentally and economically.

Hardly had the people recovered from the trauma when this COVID-19 broke out and has led the whole world to come to a standstill. The brains which were making business in the offices had to stay back in their homes to avoid spreading this disease. The public spaces like parks, restaurants, shopping malls, multiplexes, play areas, airports, etc. went deserted like never before. The weekends in the bars and pubs went all quiet. That’s not all, even student sessions in schools and colleges had to be suspended till an unknown period. The only thing that people are talking about and concerned about is keeping their hygiene intact, stocking up on necessities in case of any emergencies and avoiding any public gatherings. In simple terms, this pandemic has created a severe crunch kind of a situation socially, economically and psychologically.

The major financial crunch in the world has happened over time.

  • Oil prices have fallen, riding the world to a recession kind of a situation.
  • The travel and tourism industry is facing its all-time highest layoffs as people are no more interested in vacations abroad for the coming summer breaks and hence canceling their plans altogether leaving this industry with no work at all.
  • In the educational sector, the schools and colleges have been shut down disrupting the student’s study times across India out of which many students were yet to write their final terms examinations.
  • Many major public events had to be aborted which leaves a long-lasting impact on the event management industry thus leaving many daily wage workers jobless.
  • Many companies have declared themselves bankrupt due to major thump caused by one of the finest Indian banks leaving the stock market to behave bearishly.
  • The hospitality industry is also facing major breakdowns as all the bookings for the next few months have been canceled.
  • The entertainment industry is also facing losses as cinema halls across are shut down and hence the release dates of the movies have been postponed till an unknown period.

All in all, take any sphere of economy, there is chaos everywhere. The revival needs to be done and must be published in the public interest.

The government is taking all possible steps to make situations better and reducing the panic around by creating enough awareness among the public regarding this pandemic and the reasons for its causation. All the medical institutes across the globe have stood as one in helping the government by providing enough infrastructure to keep the infected person in isolation and giving them proper medication and emotional support. The doctors and their teams are working 24*7 to serve the society taking proper care of sanitation and medication and even those who are quarantined are given duly supply of food and other necessities for 14 days. Media is playing its utmost important role of responsibility by spreading awareness about the causation and preventions of this disease.

Amid the corona virus, there is a thin line between prudence and panic. We as citizens of this country can do a lot in the present scenario.

Stay Awake, Spread Awareness

  • Spread Awareness – Many people are still thinking there is more panic than required. They are correct but we still cannot deny the fact that precautionary steps are necessary to keep going. Avoid major public get together, Keep your hands clean by washing or sanitizing, Keep healthy diet to build up your immunity, Use masks or simply cover your mouth with a clean handkerchief or tissue paper while going out in public, Wash your clothes regularly to avoid any virus penetration and avoid personal greeting gestures like shaking hands etc.
  • Self-quarantine is the Best- Taking note of the present scenario lets help the government by not making much of public appearance so that we can help in non-spreading of this disease. The only cause of spreading this disease is the person to person contact. So let’s avoid it for a while and spend some time with your family and do your favorite pastime. You can still go out for any important jobs in your daily lives but try and avoid any luxury time outside.
  • Help your fellow being – Just in case you know any person who has been infected or quarantined for any reason give them your emotional support, motivate them towards life and help them in whatever way you can buy may be providing them and their families with daily groceries or helping them connect with the medical support system. But do that after taking all the necessary precautions.
  • Help in Job developments – If you are someone who has hands over a business and can help someone find employment in this global crisis kind of situation, please go ahead, as many daily wage workers are suffering because of sudden shut down of employment industries across nation and globe.
  • Avoid chaos kind of situation – Last but not least keep your self-motivation alive and believe that this is a passing phase and keep igniting yourself with self-awareness and learnings.

“Alone we cannot, Together we win”

So let’s spread this and show to the world that we all are standing as one against these devastating situations prevalent in today’s time because if we can’t be together now we will suffer alone tomorrow.

Let’s join hands as every effort counts..!!
