Team training is the backbone of any organization.

One of the key areas for achieving business success is building a highly skilled team. ( in any business, in any industry)
Well-trained employees are profitable. If they know how to sell, they make you bucks. If they know how to portion, they save you bucks. You achieve your highest ROI when you invest in your people.
A skilled team makes everyone’s job easier. Having a well-trained staff means lower labor cost, fewer mistakes, and a great guest experience.
By putting effort and focus into your restaurant’s training program, you immediately emphasize your workplace culture for every new hire and existing employee.
Training should be part of your restaurant’s culture and not an add-on that is initiated only when standards are not met. It should be planned, reviewed, and a part of everyday operations.
Many people talk about the importance of training and quality, but very few practice what they preach. Chefs, restaurant managers, and food and beverage leaders (no matter how busy they are, running large or small operations) must dedicate at least ten minutes a day to training their team. For chefs, this could be as simple as talking with their teams about one recipe and discussing how it can be correctly prepared and cooked to perfection. For restaurant managers it can be about describing and selling a specific menu item.
Making training and quality part of your DNA is one of the most important factors for success in F&B. Teaching others and learning from them is true leadership.
Training has to be planned and based on business needs-assessment, not based on what the corporate office of a restaurant thinks is needed.
