Meet Omar Moreno, Foreman, Oregon

Omar Moreno has been a steadfast member of the Snyder team for 7-8 years. Mr. Moreno consistently starts his workday early with his crew, gathering materials and completing tasks with utmost dedication.

Omar takes pride in being part of a three-person team that consistently accomplishes tasks efficiently. He expresses enjoyment for each unique project and values spending quality time with his family during his time off.

His advice to newcomers is to endeavor to learn as much as possible, think creatively, and confidently share their ideas.

Can you share briefly what a typical workday looks like for you?

I start my day early with my crew, gather the material needed for the day, go to the job site, and get the work done as best as we can.

How long have you worked at Snyder?

7-8 years.

What is one thing folk at Snyder might find surprising to learn about you?

People usually tend to have a wrong impression of me. Once they get to know me more, they tell me I am a very easygoing person.

What is your favorite project you’ve worked on? Why?

Every project is unique in its way – they are all my favorites.

What do you enjoy doing on your days off?

I enjoy spending time with my family.

What is one of your proudest accomplishments at the company?

My proudest accomplishment is to be part of a small crew of 3 men. Although we are a small crew we accomplish a lot of things and get the job done very quickly.

What advice would you give to someone new to Snyder?

My advice to someone new at Snyder would be to try to learn as much as you can when you can and think outside of the box. Don’t be afraid to bring your ideas to light.
