Meet Erin Warrick, Senior Estimator, Washington

Erin has been with Snyder Roofing for 6 years, growing her expertise in estimating and managing service projects. She’s proud to have worked on some of Seattle’s top hospitals and many other landmarks across the metro area.

Outside of work, Erin spends her days off with her husband and three daughters, enjoying outdoor activities like swimming and paddle boarding. Her advice to new team members: “Stay the course and trust the process—our team is always here to help.”

Can you share briefly what a typical workday looks like for you?

Reviewing bid opportunities and assigning to the estimating team, estimating and managing larger service projects (typically for general contractors), working closely with the service director to manage the department’s WIP and job projections.

How long have you worked at Snyder?

6 years.

What is one thing folk at Snyder might find surprising to learn about you?

I am a formally trained ballet dancer and taught dance to kids and adults for several years.

What is your favorite project you’ve worked on? Why?

In service it is hard to pinpoint a specific project. Due to the smaller size of our projects, we aren’t on any one job for very long. I am proud that we are selected to work on some of the best hospitals in the country with a very large footprint in the Seattle metro area in general. It’s hard to find a building in Seattle that we haven’t been a part of in some way.

What do you enjoy doing on your days off?

Spending time with my husband and 3 daughters. Playing outside, especially if it involves water or snow. I love to swim and can’t wait for my girls to get a little older so we can do more paddle boarding.

What is one of your proudest accomplishments at the company?

The knowledge I’ve gained as an estimator. Looking at where I started compared to where I am now, I’ve learned a lot and continue to learn more every day.

What do you think sets Snyder apart from other commercial roofing companies in the Pacific Northwest?

As some of our customers have pointed out, there’s no project too big or too small for Snyder. We’re ready and willing to tackle it all. I also know that our customers greatly appreciate our attention to pre-planning and ensuring that we go above and beyond to make sure their buildings stay dry during an ongoing project. And of course, our safety record speaks for itself.

What advice would you give to someone new to Snyder?

Stay the course, trust the process. Especially if you’re newer to roofing and/or waterproofing, it can be overwhelming at times. But we have a great team full of knowledgeable individuals that are more than happy to help each other out.
