The semi-pro club will now support footie fans during the cost-of-living crisis by providing ticketing bundles
The East Sussex non-league club is now allowing fans to purchase community tickets for just £10. The offer includes some classic match day football grub — think pie and mash, and vegan options — and a drink. A lovely touch for those feeling the squeeze right now.?
The club operates as a not-for-profit community benefit society, so its community ethos doesn’t stop there. For a number of years now, it has given back to local food banks by fundraising at home fixtures throughout the football season, along with other activities within the local region.
Equality is also key to Lewes FC, as both the men’s and women’s teams have shared access to the stadium and training facilities, alongside equal pay. According to the club, this level of support has “boosted its attendance at games”.
Our sports media and partnerships manager, Robert Dugmore , shares his thoughts: “For a long time, Lewes FC have been pioneers in shaking up the status quo surrounding the gender pay gap, sustainability in the game and community ownership. It's nice to have a club like Lewes FC flying the flag for the core values which Ticketpass hold dear. Not only that, but it's a beautiful part of the world to watch a game of football.”
