Under the bright early sun of Queen’s Park Savannah, teams from across Trinidad and Tobago's financial sector gathered for a day charged with competition and unity at the CariFin Games Cross Country and Family Day. Despite a couple of surprise rain showers, nothing could dampen the spirit of the athletes and spectators.
Highlights of the day included exceptional performances from Team Scotiabank, who took home top honours in both the men's and women's cross-country runs. ?? Shay Gonzales led the men with a swift 24:22 in the 6K, while Dianne Denny continued her unbeaten streak with a brilliant 19:44 in the women's 4K
.
Beyond the races, the day was filled with laughter, team spirit, and community camaraderie. From tug-of-war triumphs which were reclaimed by Team Scotiabank, to the Best Tent Decor award going to Trinidad and Tobago Unit Trust Corporation for their innovative digital display, every moment was a celebration of "Fun, Fitness, and Friendship."
